Custom-bent aluminum can be used to finish exposed exterior wood around windows, doors, bay windows, gables, frieze boards, posts, columns, and porch beams. It can reduce future painting and create a cleaner connection between siding, soffit, fascia, and trim.
The underlying surface should be reviewed before it is covered. Active rot, water entry, or damaged framing must be addressed rather than hidden behind new aluminum.
