- Analytics data — anonymized behavioural data collected by Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, time on site, device type, general geographic region).
- Session behaviour data — Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session information (mouse movements, clicks, scroll patterns, page interactions) to help us understand how visitors use the site and identify usability issues. Microsoft Clarity does not record keystrokes in form fields or sensitive information.
- Advertising data — conversion events and click attribution data collected by Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) Pixel when you interact with our ads or visit our site after clicking one.

- Meta Platforms — Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising conversion measurement
- Contact form processor (Contact Form 7 / Flamingo) — stores form submissions on our server
- Email service provider — delivers estimate confirmations and email replies (WP Mail SMTP)
- Law enforcement or legal authorities — only when required by valid legal process
How long we retain your data
- Estimate requests and contact form submissions: retained for up to 7 years for tax, warranty, and follow-up service purposes, then securely deleted.
- Email correspondence: retained until no longer needed for the relationship, then deleted.
- Server logs: retained by Cloudflare and our hosting provider per their standard retention (typically 30-90 days).
- Google Analytics data: retained per Google’s standard settings (currently 14 months for user-level data).
- Microsoft Clarity data: retained per Microsoft’s standard settings (currently up to 13 months).
- Advertising conversion data: retained per Google Ads and Meta Ads default retention.
Your rights under PIPEDA
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access that information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent for future use of your information

Where your data is stored
Our website and databases are hosted on servers located in Canada. Third-party services (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Cloudflare) may process data outside of Canada in accordance with their own privacy policies and international data transfer agreements.
Children’s privacy
