How we design, size and install seamless aluminum gutters for GTA homes.
It depends on the age and condition. We can often repair isolated issues like a few
loose sections or a leaking corner. If the system is older, poorly sloped or patched many
times, a full seamless replacement is usually the better long-term value.
During your estimate we’ll outline both options where possible.
Both are seamless aluminum systems, but 6" gutters hold more water and work better on
large or complex roofs or homes with heavy tree cover. Many typical two-storey homes in Mississauga
and Oakville still perform well with 5" eavestroughs; we’ll recommend the right size after seeing your roof.
In our climate, most homes without guards need cleaning at least once a year,
and twice a year if there are tall trees nearby. If you’re dealing with clogs and overflowing
gutters every season, a continuous gutter guard system may be worth considering.
Ventilation, appearance and when to repair vs. replace.
Vented soffit provides the intake air your attic needs to work with roof vents.
Good airflow helps reduce condensation, mould risk, ice dams and summer heat build-up.
When soffit is blocked or under-vented, even good roof vents can’t do their job properly.
On porch ceilings and other areas with no attic space, we typically use
non-perforated soffit. This keeps the look consistent without creating unnecessary openings
where ventilation isn’t required.
Not always. If the existing fascia boards and capping are solid and straight, we can often
reuse them. If there is rot, warping or previous patchwork, it’s usually smarter to
rebuild the roof edge as a system — soffit, fascia and eavestrough together —
so everything lines up and lasts.
Materials we work with and how projects are planned.
We work with vinyl siding, aluminum siding and select fibre-cement options such as
James Hardie products, depending on the home and design. We also install
aluminum cladding on
frieze boards, posts and trims to reduce painting and maintenance.
Both. We frequently update one or two elevations (for example, the front and sides)
or specific problem areas, and we also handle full-house siding renovations. During your visit we’ll
discuss what makes the most sense for your budget and curb appeal.
When leaf protection makes sense in the West GTA.
For homes with tall trees or hard-to-reach gutters, a quality guard system can reduce
clogs and maintenance significantly. In the West GTA we often recommend
continuous hanger systems that support the gutter and keep out most debris,
rather than flimsy snap-in screens.
We are an ALU-REX Elite Certified Installer and most often install
T-Rex and DoublePro continuous hanger systems.
If you have a specific brand in mind, we can usually work with it as long as it’s a
quality product that suits your roof and gutter system.

How we quote projects and help you plan the investment.
Yes. We provide free, written estimates for eavestrough, soffit and fascia,
siding, gutter guards and related exterior work. Most quotes include a clear scope,
materials, options and timing.
Key things include total footage, number of corners and levels, access (for example, walk-out
basements or tight side yards), material choice and any repairs needed to the wood structure.
We’ll explain how each item affects the price during your estimate.
Often, yes. We can prioritize urgent items first (for example, leaking gutters or rotten fascia)
and schedule remaining soffit, siding or cladding work in a second stage.
Our project budgeting & payment options page
explains more about phasing and comfortable payment arrangements.
